Best POS systems in Morocco (2026), compared
Seven POS systems used in Morocco, compared on what they publish: prices, devices, offline mode, card payments and local support.
In Morocco, the POS systems most often mentioned are inyad, Lacaisse.ma, Caisse Manager, Odoo, Lightspeed, Loyverse and Distrilog. None suits every business: compare published prices, the device, offline selling and local support for the way you work.
The essentials
- Seven POS systems come up when business owners in Morocco talk about tills: inyad, Lacaisse.ma, Caisse Manager, Odoo, Lightspeed, Loyverse and Distrilog.
- They are not built for the same businesses: some are made for restaurants and hotels, some for shops, some for both.
- The clearest difference is price transparency: some publish their prices in dirhams, some in US dollars, some only quote on request.
- Check four things before you sign: the device it needs, selling offline, card payments linked to the till, and support you can reach in Morocco.
- Ask to see the system running on your own product list, on a busy day, before you commit.
How we compared
inyad is one of the seven POS systems in this comparison. To keep it fair, we used only what each company publishes itself, on its website or app store listing, checked on 29 October 2026. Where something is not published, we say so rather than guess. Offers change often, so confirm the details with the vendor before you choose.
Each system is looked at against the same criteria:
- Price transparency: are prices published, in which currency, is there a free plan, is there a commitment?
- Device: does it run on a phone, tablet or computer you already own, or does it need the brand's own terminal?
- Offline: can you keep selling when the internet cuts?
- Card payments: is the card terminal linked to the till, and through which Moroccan provider?
- Support in Morocco: a local team you can reach by phone or WhatsApp, who will set things up on site.
- Your trade: food service (tables, kitchen), retail (barcodes, stock, variants), several locations.
The best POS system is still the one that fits the way your business works.
Prices: who publishes what?
Price is usually the first question, and the answer is not always online. Here is what each company shows, as of the date of this article.
- A free plan, with prices on its Moroccan pricing page: inyad.
- Public prices in dirhams: Lacaisse.ma (an entry offer is published, then a tailored offer on quote) and Caisse Manager (priced per till, with a free plan on one till and a 14-day trial).
- Public prices in US dollars: Odoo (one free app, then a price per user; setup by a Moroccan partner is billed separately) and Loyverse (free POS, paid add-ons).
- Quote only: Lightspeed, whose price in Morocco is set by its local integrator, and Distrilog.
A published price does not tell the whole story: always ask what is included (installation, training, hardware, updates) and how long you are committed for.
Compare a POS system on what the company publishes, not on what the sales pitch promises.

Which system for your business?
Café, snack bar or restaurant
Look for a floor plan, a kitchen display and delivery platform orders on the same till. inyad, Lacaisse.ma, Caisse Manager, Lightspeed and Distrilog cover food service; Lightspeed and Distrilog are aimed more at established venues and groups.
Shop, grocery store or mini-market
You need barcodes, stock that goes down with every sale, variants and often a scale. Check sales on credit too: many regular customers settle at the end of the month. inyad, Caisse Manager, Odoo and Loyverse cover retail.
Hair or beauty salon
The till has to work with appointments and customer records. inyad, Lacaisse.ma and Caisse Manager mention salons.
Several locations
You need one shared product list and price list, stock transfers and combined reports. Every system in this comparison handles several locations, on different plans: ask which plan includes it.
With inyad POS, you see each till's takings from your phone, and which products really sell.

What about "lifetime software" bundles?
On classified ad sites, you will find bundles of a screen, printer and cash drawer sold with "lifetime software". The entry price is tempting, but ask who makes the software, who updates it, and who answers when it stops at Saturday lunchtime. Without a company you can identify behind it, you are mostly buying hardware.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best POS system in Morocco?
There is no single answer. A restaurant will look for a floor plan and a kitchen display, a grocery store for barcodes, a scale and customer credit. Start from your business, then compare published prices, the device required, offline selling and support in Morocco.
Is there a free POS system in Morocco?
Yes. inyad has a free plan, Caisse Manager a free plan on one till, Odoo one free app and Loyverse a free POS with paid add-ons. Check what the free plan includes and what becomes paid as you grow.
Do I need to buy the brand's own terminal?
Not always. inyad, Caisse Manager, Odoo and Loyverse run on everyday devices: Android, Windows or a web browser depending on the company. Lacaisse.ma and Lightspeed run on iPad, and Distrilog uses its own terminals.
Are these POS systems ready for e-invoicing?
As of the date of this article, none of the companies compared publishes a connection to the DGI's e-invoicing system. The principle is written into law, but the timing depends on implementing texts: check with the DGI or your accountant.
